By downloading or using LogMog, you agree to these terms. Please read them.
1. The app
LogMog is a free iOS calculator application developed by Chuck Silver ("we", "us", "our"). It calculates BMI, TDEE, and macro targets based on information you provide. It is provided as-is, free of charge, with no subscription or in-app purchases.
2. Not medical advice
LogMog provides general fitness and nutrition information for educational and tracking purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet or exercise programme, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use LogMog only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
- Use the app in any way that could harm yourself or others
- Misrepresent the app or its features to others
4. Intellectual property
All content, design, and code within LogMog — including the LogMog name, logotype, and branding — are the property of Chuck Silver and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. The source code is available on GitHub and is subject to its licence terms.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
LogMog is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that calorie and macro calculations will meet your individual fitness goals. Individual results vary based on many factors outside the app's calculations.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chuck Silver shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of LogMog, including but not limited to any health outcomes resulting from following calorie or macro suggestions.
7. Third-party services
LogMog uses iOS system frameworks (UserDefaults, UNUserNotificationCenter) under Apple's standard terms. It does not integrate with HealthKit, iCloud, or any third-party service. Use of your iPhone is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes and reflected by an updated effective date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Chuck Silver operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
